SOLID STAVE DRUMS 

We craft solid stave shells, which offer superior quality compared to traditional plywood shells. Each drum is made from hand-selected, premium materials, free of defects and imperfections.

Most drums on the market are made from plywood, which require large amounts of glue. The glue hinders sound energy transfer, leading to a muddier resonance. Drums with less glue have a richer and fuller tone with the mids opening up and producing a bigger sound.

In contrast, our solid stave drums feature vertically oriented grain and use minimal glue. This allows sound energy to travel more efficiently from the batter head to the resonant head, resulting in a clearer, richer tone.

Additionally, solid stave drums are more structurally stable and less prone to warping. Thanks to their multiple stave construction, they rely on a precise fit rather than pressure, ensuring long-lasting durability.
